• You will need to use the latest Yamaha Expansion Manager (PC or Mac) to install pack into your instrument. Download for Mac. Download for PC.

• Make sure your firmware is updated to the latest version

• For Premium Packs: Have a Flash Memory Expansion Module installed in your instrument

A Flash Memory Expansion Module is an additional piece of hardware designed specifically for your instrument. Installing the Flash Memory Expansion Module to the Tyros4 allows you to import Wave files such as Premium Voices.

You can purchase a Flash Memory Expansion Module from your local Yamaha dealer. Compatible expansion modules are the FL512M and FL1024M.

For Audio Styles: Only one Audio Style Pack can be installed at a time

LOAD PACKS TO YAMAHA EXPANSION MANAGER

INSTALL YOUR PACKS TO YOUR INSTRUMENT

1. Log onto www.YamahaMusicSoft.com
2. Find your desired pack or other content and add it to your cart.
3. Proceed to Checkout and you will be directed to the Order Details page.
4. Review your order on the Order Details page, and if everything is correct, click Continue.
5. Complete the checkout process with your Payment Method and place your order.
6. You may either download the pack at this time from the Order Complete page, or download it later by going to "My Account" in the top right, then navigating to "My Library" in the left column. You will see your product with the download option.

OR

This program is valid for Yamaha Expansion Packs only. Packs from 3rd party producers are not included in the free upgrade program.

1. Log onto www.YamahaMusicSoft.com with the same email address you used to purchase the Tyros pack.
2. Find your desired pack(s) and add it to your cart. You will see the free pack discount for relevant packs in your shopping cart. (If you do not see this discount automatically applied, make sure you are using the same email address that you used to purchase your Tyros pack. If the problem persists contact customer support at https://www.yamahamusicsoft.com/contacts.
3. Proceed to Checkout and you will be directed to the Order Details page.
4. Review your order on the Order Details page, and if everything is correct, click Continue."
5. Complete the checkout process. If you are only purchasing upgrade packs you will not need to enter payment information.
6. You may either download the pack at this time from the Order Complete page or download it later by going to "My Account" in the top right, then navigating to “My Library” in the left column. You will see your product with the download option. You have now successfully downloaded your pack to your computer.

1. Download and install Yamaha Expansion Manager for PC or Mac. Download for Mac. Download for PC.
2. In the Expansion Manager program, click the "+" symbol to the right of "My Packs"
3. Click on "Import Pack".
4. Select the pack you'd like to import and click "Open"
5. Enter the required authentication info to complete the import.

You have now successfully imported your pack into the Yamaha Expansion Manager.

You can choose to use wi-fi or a USB device. Follow the instructions found in the Yamaha Expansion Manager User Manual for more information on how to transfer packs to your instrument.
