David Buechner, the highest ranking American prizewinner at the 1986 Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition, is an artist of startling achievement. He has won multiple awards including the Grand Prize at the 1984 Utah Symphony Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Mr. Buechner records for the Connoisseur label.
